A goldfish has a better attention span than your audience (really)

Are you using Social Media to your advantage?
By creating short, informative video “tips” for free and targeting a specific demographic in your city, you can tap into the power of social media. But guess what?

You’ve only got eight seconds.
Grab your audience with a great title and image. Something that creates a little mystery or humor. You want your audience to pause their day… And click! Don’t disappoint. Follow it up with content that is both relevant and engaging.

You’re probably asking yourself what eight seconds and a goldfish have to do with this. Rather than try to explain it, I decided to make a short video tip about making short video tips. And if you want to find out about the goldfish, you’ll have to click play.

When you’re done watching, take a moment to consider then how you could better use Social Media to take your message to your audience.

Facebook advertising - Buddha's Uncle video content marketing

Facebook makes it easy with advertising that drills down and places your video tip right in front of someone you’ve pre-designated — by location, interest, buying habits, and age.

The best thing about this kind of video marketing, is that it’s quick and easy to create. You don’t necessarily need to shoot anything!

Hope this gives you some ideas…
